I’ve been busy weaving baskets for our beautiful local shops and cafes and I have loved getting around the island meeting people from these magic places and making plans to get these wee baskets out for you to buy. I’ve been to Cafe Cùil yesterday enjoying their new Autumn menu and checking on the baskets that are for sale in their shop. I had the kedgeree with sorrel raita and I drank the Cùil-aid - plum, bog myrtle and ginger, it was magic. I’ve also delivered baskets to the Post Office in Broadford, Bùth na h-abhainn. I have small woven trees available in Create Art shop in Kyle of Lochalsh, and garlic and lemon baskets in Òr, Portree. Please go and find these baskets and give them a new home. They are all hand-made locally here on the croft and a sustainable gift choice.
